What's included in the Website Care Plan?

Our optional Website Care Plan includes WordPress, theme and plugin updates, regular backups, security monitoring and website maintenance. It’s designed to keep your website secure, up to date and running smoothly all year round.

Can I cancel my Website Care Plan?

Yes. You can cancel your Website Care Plan at any time. If you cancel, your website will continue to work as normal, however ongoing updates, backups, security monitoring and maintenance will become your responsibility.

Is my domain name included?

Yes. Your website package includes registration of one standard .com.au or .com domain name for the first year. After that, your domain will need to be renewed annually. Domain renewals typically cost around $30 to $40 per year, depending on the extension. We’ll remind you before it’s due and can arrange the renewal for you if you’d like.

Can I use my existing domain name?

Absolutely. If you already own a domain name, we can connect it to your new website at no additional cost.

Do I own my website?

Yes. Once your website has been paid for, you own your website and all of its content. It’s your business, and your website belongs to you.

What happens after the first year?

Your website package includes your first year’s domain registration and managed website hosting. After that, you’ll simply renew your hosting and domain each year to keep your website online.

If you’ve chosen our optional Website Care Plan, it will continue on a month-to-month basis until cancelled.

How long does it take to build my website?

Most websites are completed within 2 to 4 weeks, depending on the size of the project and how quickly we receive your content and feedback. We’ll keep you updated throughout the entire process.

What do I need to provide?

We’ll need your business information, logo (if you have one), details about your services and any photos you’d like to include. If you don’t have enough photos, we can source high-quality stock images where appropriate.

Can I make changes to my website?

Yes. If you have our optional Website Care Plan, it includes up to 15 minutes of minor content updates each month. This includes things like updating text, replacing images, changing business hours or updating contact details. Larger changes, additional pages or new features can be quoted separately.

If you don’t have a Website Care Plan, you’re welcome to update your website yourself at any time. If you’d prefer us to make changes for you, we’re happy to help, with updates quoted separately.

Can I upgrade my website later?

Absolutely. As your business grows, your website can grow with it. Whether you’d like to add new pages, features or functionality, we’re happy to help. We’ll provide a quote for any additional work before getting started.

Will my website work on mobile phones?

Yes. Every website we build is fully responsive, meaning it looks and works beautifully on desktops, tablets and mobile phones.

Will my website be secure?

Yes. Every website includes an SSL certificate, secure hosting and industry-standard security practices. If you choose our optional Website Care Plan, we’ll also keep your website updated and monitor its ongoing security.

Do I need a Google Business Profile?

While it’s not essential, we highly recommend a Google Business Profile for businesses wanting to attract local customers. It helps your business appear in Google Search and Google Maps, making it easier for potential customers to find you.

Are there any other ongoing costs?

After the first year, you’ll need to renew your domain name and managed website hosting each year to keep your website online. Our Website Care Plan is completely optional and is available if you’d like us to continue looking after your website with ongoing updates, backups and security monitoring.
